Sharkah Chakra - Ethical Luxury

Sharkah Chakra is a new luxury clothing label whose philosophy is to "make the world's best and only hand made denim using a simple age old concept of treating others as you wish to be treated". The organic Fairtrade cotton is hand-picked in West Africa and coloured using natural indigo dye, it is then woven on hand looms in Southern India before travelling to Italy where the jeans are finished and laundered.

All these good intentions are very well but they won't count for much unless the jeans themselves look good. Luckily, the end result of these ancient techniques and craftsmanship are some unique and classical looking jeans that will only get better with age. The jeans are available online now from SharkahChakra.com and will be sold exclusively by Harvey Nichols in London from the end of September.
