Flaunt Magazine, September 2009, features a straight forward hot girl in denim based editorial collaboration between photographer Yu Tsai and model Rianne ten Haken. The denim included in the Ticket to Ride picture set include Current/Elliott Denim, a Kova&T denim jumpsuit, many Ksubi denim pieces paired with red lingerie.

The company was inspired by the last days that PRVCY founder, Carolyn Jones, spent with her mother, who was battling breast cancer. It was then that Jones decided to leave the corporate life to do as her mother suggested and follow her dreams into fashion.

Since its founding, PRVCY has become a favorite denim brand with a host of Hollywood starlets including Jessica Alba, Katherine Heigl, Emmy Rossum, and Jennifer Lopez. 10 percent of all proceeds go to benefit breast cancer awareness and free mammogram programs. Mardou & Dean S/S 2010: Dean

The Mardou&Dean brand was inspired by the novels written by Beatnik author Jack Kerouac. The denim line has an alter ego of sorts, being classic and yet avant-garde. This allows the brand to be both timeless like 7 For All Mankind or Ralph Lauren and to be trendsetting like Alexander Wang or Balmain concurrently.

Overall the jeans are developed with care down to each and every detail. Take note particularly to the very original wide and slightly open fly, the position of the brand label, the engraved buttons and rivets made in Italy, and the placement of the back pockets which we are promised will give everyone a perfect bottom!

Current/Elliott Holiday 2009 Lookbook

The MAUDE styling team aka Emily Current and Merritt Elliott have just released their Holiday 2009 Lookbook to the public. As expected, the ladies did not disappoint. Current/Elliott has added a new pale pink wash to their line up of original washes. This wash is called "Red Sock" and it echoes what jeans look like after being washed with a bright, brand new red sock by mistake. The line is bursting with sexy details. There is full leg length zips, your choice of zips on the front or the back. The line has tons of laceup details inspired by corsets and lingerie. There are jeans that lace up the front of you can opt for the back if that tickles your fancy. I have to say, this is the sexiest collection from Current/Elliott. The look book was styled by Maude, shot by photographer Hilary Walsh and modeled by the fabulous Erin Heatherton.

The highlight of the line in my opinion was the new take on pull-on bell jeans. The comfort of a legging but the look of a Bell bottom. This pair has me licking my lips in anticipation to see where they show up first.
