Moschino Spring RTW 2010

Moschino showed their Men's Spring Ready-to-Wear collection at Fashion Week in Milan, featuring some denim styles for men with higher inseams than we are used to seeing. Wonder if these "capri" style jeans for men will catch on in retail denim.

Maison Martin Margiela Men's RTW Spring 2010

Maison Martin Margiela's Men's 2010 Spring ready to wear collection started off as an all-white offering, but later brought forth some destroyed light denim and artistic patterns. Will light and white denim continue to be the next big thing this season?

Balmain Men's RTW 2010

Balmain sent some new denim for men down the runway at Fashion Week, playing on military and motorcycle trends. Do you love the men's collection as much as his female counterpart's?

D&G Approves of Double Bedazzled Denim

d_and_g_runway_LJ1.jpg

D&G's Men's Spring/Summer 2010 collection proved at Milan Fashion Week that they wholeheartedly approve of double denim! The collection featured lots of distressed and bedazzled denim - still furthering my prediction that the blingy denim of the early 2000's is making a comeback.

William Rast Selfridges Fall 2009

Justin_Timberlake_WilliamRast_SG3.jpg

Justin Timberlake was on hand for the London debut of William Rast Fall 2009 line at Selfridges taking to the runway himself, Timberlake was joined onstage by partner Trace Ayala. The brand which has been shepherded by Johan Lindeberg, whose company Paris68 has been guiding the line since its inception is a favorite amongst celebrities. William Rast is spreading its wings towards more ready-to-wear, in addition to the denim collection, and includes motorcycle jackets both in denim and leather, suits for men, skirts, shirts, and of course, plenty of jeans to keep their fans satisfied. William Rast premiered their collection earlier this year at New York Fashion Week.

Wood Wood Fall 2009 Collection

woodwood1t.jpg
Wood Wood began as a t-shirt label and urban clothing store in Copenhagen back in '02, but quickly grew into a full-fledged design house, producing collections that show alongside Cheap Monday and J. Lindeberg at Stockholm Fashion Week. For its latest, Wood Wood brings a plucky-yet-polished blend of grunge and mod together, perfecting the slacker-in-private-school wardrobe. The trick here is to use layering to balance out the two very different styles. Oversized denim jackets lend dimensional grit to clean fitted lines, while half-tucked button-ups and clingy knits cinch in the slouchier silhouettes. For extra points, add a punky too-small porkpie hat or sweet beret.
