Topshop London Fashion Week

With Nirvana playing Topshop payed homage to the 80's with their Unique Spring Summer collection in London kicking off the city's Fashion Week. Unique, which is one of Topshop's private lines is priced between $60 - $300 and denim continued to take center stage in the collection with varied washes, distressed denim, vests and shirts. With a front row consisting of Kate Moss (who slipped in without any fanfare), Pixie Geldof, Alexa Chung and Kelly Osborne this was a fashion show for all of us, not just those who wear couture.

Vivienne Westwood London Fashion Week

Pixie Geldof took to the catwalk at the Vivienne Westwood Spring/Summer 2010 fashion show kicking of London Fashion Week. Pixie walked the runway in denim knee length shorts and box t-shirt. Backstage she played around with friend and fellow denim devotee Alexa Chung.
Mulberry Spring/Summer 2010 RTW
Mulberry brought back the 80's with their carnival themed show at Fashion Week. Their Spring RTW collection featured ruffles, bows and puffed sleeves - of course with denim. I love the denim jacket in the first outfit above. And oh the big hair! Break out your crimper, ladies!
Ralph Lauren Spring/Summer 2010 RTW

The Ralph Lauren Spring/Summer 2010 show featured models in newsboy caps with boyfriend jeans, faded overalls and had a fabulous pioneer theme throughout. "I am inspired by the character of the worker, the farmer, the cowboy, the pioneer women of the prairies," wrote designer Ralph Lauren in his program notes. We love the amazing denim in this collection!

Buckler Mens Jeans F/W 2009

Andrew Buckler's line has a lot of retail potential. The line was very creative and styled using Brazilian colors. The collection featured looks with indie demeanor, and a touch of humor. Which is how Buckler always works. We got the rock n' roll then the coming back dropped crotch jeans. I guess we will have to wait and see if men start running for their baggy jeans again. I for one don't care for that style.
G-Star Raw Spring 2010

G-Star continues to experiment the ways in which denim can be worn. A long white tuxedo jumpsuit, teeny-tiny denim bikini shorts would probably do best under a skirt, a fitted and flared blazer in a classic dark wash looked just right for right now. Over all, G-Star really brought it this year! Enjoy the gallery images!
