Rachel Bilson goes out in LA wearing brilliant Red J & Company Beverly Jeans with leopard print Christian Louboutin shoes and a Jimmy Choo Kiki Bag (source: PurseBlog.com). This outfit would have been smashing if Rachel had hemmed her jeans.

Malgosia Bela poses in the i-D Magazine April 2009 spread, "Everywhere Kiss Me," wearing a variety of denim pieces including Tommy Hilfiger Jeans, a Levi's Jean Jacket, Guess denim shorts, and pink Ksubi jeans. In my opinion the photographer, Katja Rahlwes, did a great job on capturing the 80's vibe they were going for. This would have been very cutesy for PlayBoy, perhaps? You'll see what I mean after the jump.

UNIQLO Spring Summer 2009 Lookbook

Known for their great styles and even better price point, UNIQLO has been a favorite of fashionistas everywhere since their inception in 2005. Tagged as a "new-style Japanese firm making good casual clothes available for all to wear", UNIQLO has rolled out a line this spring that is not only pleasing to the eye, but once again, pleasing to the check book too.

For us ladies, UNIQLO is offering flirty colors in a new straight and skinny cut, ranging from seafoam greens to adorable cotton-candy pinks.

"The super-stretch fabric lends itself perfectly to the body skimming skinny design and is made from the softest cotton before being treated with the distinctive and nostalgic stonewash effect, modernised in UNIQLO's inimitable colourful style" said Liz Roscoe of Modus Publicity for the SS09 collection.

And for the gents...don't worry, you have not been left out...not even close. With the success of UNIQLO's women's line, 2009 brings the launch of a new menswear collection.

Sticking with the Japanese Premium tradition that has brought them thus far, UNIQLO is offering two cuts for men: Slim Fit and Regular Fit Jeans. They will be available in blue, black and indigo (regular fit only in black and indigo).

UNIQLO's women's collection is offered in UNIQLO stores and online at uniqlo.co.uk and retails for an amazing $35.00 USD whilst the men's collection is found exclusively Selfridges in London for around $70.00 USD.

Freedom of Choice For The 80s

Whether your reference is the runway or Vogue, the 80s are back in a big way and we are obsessed with Freedom of Choice's extreme take on the bleached wash. Go street kid with high tops and a bright bandanna or go for glamour in studded heels and a structured jacket with strong shoulders.

55DSL Spring Summer 2009 Collection

55DSL is 15 years old in 2009, but the collection still looks high on energy and street appeal. Super bright, trippy, neon colours abound, and although it stops short of rainbow print tie-dyed tees the references to surfing pschedelia are clear. For the denim, they say for guys: 'we’ve got field work inspired pants and denim; braced-up or down-fitting with low-pockets, washed and blow-dried for strength and honour'. And for girls: 'a timeless mix of ultra slim fit denim, oversized pants and a groovy mix of high-waist boot-cut denims. For those girls looking for that special something-something, why not try our deluxe harem pants, with high-waist and braces'. Gnarly.
