Celebrity Denim - Beckham Style

The paparazzi in LA must be thanking their lucky stars that the Beckham's have finally arrived. Here is a couple that never knowingly misses a photo opportunity. On their trip to Toys R Us at the weekend David wore his usual faded PRPS Jeans whilst Victoria went for a very striking pair of high-waisted flares by Superfine of London. (Source: JustJared)

Cameron Diaz in J Brand Doll Jeans

Hands up who loves Cameron Diaz. That's pretty much everyone I think. What is there not to love about her, she is gorgeous, classy and looks like a right laugh. Here she is wearing a pair of the newest and hottest J Brand “Doll” jeans whilst promoting Shrek The Third in New York yesterday.

Superfine Women's Fall/Winter 07 Collection

Superfine's new women's collection is titled "Fallen Angel" and like the men's collection it is influenced by the dark side. Skinny and straight jeans have been embellished with side-lacing, chevrons and waxed bandages whilst a wider silhouette is introduced with the "City" jean (see above).

Mischa Barton in 18th Amendment Bacall Jeans

Mischa Barton is another one of those fashion forward celebs that is always first to pick up on a new trend, so it's not surprising to see her in a pair of high-waisted jeans. These photographs taken in London yesterday show her wearing a pair of 18th Amendment Bacall Jeans and a vintage Fleetwood Mac t-shirt.

More Denim In The UK News

Denim is a hot topic in the UK newspapers at the moment and barely a week goes by without an article or two on my favourite subject. This week both The Times and The Guardian worked themselves into a bit of a tizzy concerning the dilemma of whether to wear high-waisted flared jeans, like the ones above from TopShop. The Times advises that you should "approach with extreme caution" whilst The Guardian is more positive concluding that "you don't need a (Kate) Moss-like body to look good in flares".

Ciara In High Waisted Bootcut Jeans

The high-waisted jeans look is a difficult one to pull off but that isn't stopping plenty of celebs giving it a go. One person that seems to have pulled this look off pretty well is up and coming R&B singer Ciara who appears quite prim and proper in her high-waisted bootcut jeans on a recent visit to MTV's TRL.
