Lee Jeans 120 Year Collection
To celebrate their 120th anniversary, Lee Jeans has created a celebration collection, available in stores in September 2009. This collection combines a selection of the most successful Lee 5-pocket fits in classic Lee washes. The collection will feature two classic Lee washes: the 120 rinse and 120 worn. The rinse wash features an authentic dry look. The male version is treated with a resin that limits shrinking. The female version of the 120 rinse is done on a bi-stretch, pure indigo red cast denim to give it a feminine twist. The worn wash creates a look like you've been wearing a dry denim for a few months. This wash is available in both rigid and stretch. The rider jacket is also available in the 120 years celebration package.

Original Penguin Denim
Heritage brand Original Penguin have released a collection with new premium denim, something the brand has not done in a while. The highlight of these new additions is the selvedge jeans, with exposed trim on the back pockets, that come in a loose relaxed fit. The collection revolves around the theme of a journey through Americana. The main hook is 24-year-old Tyson Ritter from the band All American Rejects who models the collection, below.
Raleigh Denim
Sarah and Victor met just before college. After studying design and business respectively, the couple traveled to Europe before returning to their hometown, Raleigh, North Carolina to set up shop. The husband-and-wife team began making jeans a few years ago, in their apartment living room, with no grand plans beyond that. But as they made pattern after pattern, and pair after pair, they became wholly enthralled with denim and jeans making. Soon they'd acquired industrial sewing machines, moved production out of their home, and were selling to friends and local stores.
The couple handcrafts each pair of jeans into a modern fit, using the finest lightweight selvage denim. Their simple style and meticulously detailed Raleigh Denim jeans have garnered a national following and are sold in Barney's New York stores and online. I love the idea of a lightweight selvage jean and can't wait to try Raleigh for myself.
