AG Jeans Online Store Opens

AG Adriano Goldschmied Jeans have now opened an online store AGJeansOutlet.com and to celebrate the launch they are offering a massive 50% off men's and women's jeans.

Double M - Upmarket Indie Jeans

Double M is a new denim brand founded by a Millie Monferin who has quite a track record in the jeans industry. He worked at Levi's where he was responsible for their 501, Red Tab and Vintage collections, then he went onto Lee where he created the 101 Collection and finally he became President of Japanese brand Edwin in Europe. This is obviously a guy who knows a thing or two about denim.

His new brand Double M has been developed with "Indie-Thinking, True-Talking and Unparalled-Passion which I think is marketing speak for no-nonsense, high quality jeans for people who know and love denim. The Fall/Winter 2008 collection features two styles for each sex - slim and regular for guys and skinny and regular for girls both of which feature futuristic fits that they hope will appeal to both denim-heads and the fashion savvy. I can definetly see these jeans being a bit hit with indie-kids who have tired of their Cheap Mondays and want to move a little upmarket.

Red Monkey RMC Star Wars Jeans

Here is something a little out of the ordinary - a pair of Red Monkey RMC Star Wars jeans. These jeans are officially licensed by LucasFilms and come in a limited edition run of 500 pairs. They feature special buttons on the fly which can be unscrewed and replaced with jewel and diamond encrusted versions. But be warned these jeans are not for the faint-hearted - they will set you back a hefty £480.

Junya Watanabe Man x Levi's F/W 2008

When Junya Watanabe had his Spring 2009 Catwalk Show the models were wearing jeans that had been turned up to show an inner gingham lining. It turns out that these jeans are a collaboration with Levi's and are now on sale Japanese online store Re In Force. (Source: HighSnobiety)

Rare 1890s Levi's 201 Jeans On Ebay

Here is something you don't see every day - a pair of Levi's 201 Jeans dating back to the 1890s are for sale on eBay. The jeans were found in a mine in the Rand Mining District on the Mojave Desert, California. Bidding currently stands at $8,700 and the auction ends tomorrow (July 30th), although I would imagine the final sale price will end up being a lot higher.

UPDATE: These jeans eventually sold for an amazing $36,099.00.
