If you are like myself, you feel stylish and sexy wearing your skinny jeans tucked into your boots. As fashion goes, this is my favorite part of the holiday season! The problem that most of us endure while wearing them, is that if you move, you have to stop and cram your jeans back into your boots. No bueno! A fashionable new knight is in town: Stiruppz have come to save our fashionable flair! Stiruppz are made of elastic webbing, nylon and alligator clips. These little gimmicks look secure and sound simple enough to attach:

Las Vegas Woolwranglers Rodeo
These are just about the coolest denim photos I think I have seen this year. They were taken by celebrated illustrator and photographer Garance Dore who paid a visit to the las Vegas Woolwranglers Rodeo where the kids ride sheep instead of horses or bulls. J Brand On TV
Fans of J Brand may be interested to learn that Creative Director, Susie Crippen will be appearing in the documentarty "Anatomy Of A Closet" which is showing on Sunday, November 8th at 8:00 PM on Ovation Network. The show "counts down 10 style icons that we find in our closets, drawers and vanities. It explores the history of these icons, including their origins and evolution, the cultural trends and celebrity associations that have made them so popular and enduring, and the pitfalls that go along with wearing some of them."
A list of style icons would not be complete without jeans and J Brand is a featured brand. Susie is interviewed in the documentary alongside people such as actress Mena Suvari, Elle editor Kate Lanphear and drummer Larry Mullen, Jr who as everyone knows is the coolest member of U2.

NY Times Article On Denim Prices
One of the positive side effects of the recession is that it has acted as a reality check to the prices charged by many premium denim brands. The New York Times has a very interesting article on the fact that prices for top end jeans are now trending down from $300 to around $200 - which will come as welcome news to anyone with more than a passing interest in premium denim.
