Anyone with an interest in vintage denim may like to check out Sartoria.com's video timeline of the history of Lee Jeans. Although it's a shame it stops at 1970 because Lee are still producing great jeans 40 years later.

Wrangler: Stop Thinking

Wrangler Jeans has just released their new film, Stop Thinking. The iconic American outdoor denim brand is building a fascinating body of short films around its award-winning WE ARE ANIMALS brand-platform (Press Grand Prix, Cannes Lion, June 2009). The message of the short film is to stop thinking, and just "do". What this has to do with denim, I'm not completely sure, but I like the concept of the film.

Fergie Loves Frankie B.'s on her Hump

The other day I was browsing Twitter and ran across Frankie B.'s Twitter page and noticed how designer Daniella Clarke mentioned that Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas wore Frankie B.'s in the video for My Humps, and my immediate thought was, I must revive this video! So here it is, an oldie but a goodie - "Seven jeans, True Religion, I say no but they keep givin'...". C'mon, you know you still turn this song up when you hear it on the radio!

New Hudson Jeans Ad Featuring Georgia Jagger

Hudson Jeans were looking for a way to brand their company which is based in California, but which has a very London edge. So they came up with the inspired idea of using Georgia Jagger, daughter of American model Jerry Hall and British rock icon Mick Jagger. The saucy new commercial is now available online (see above) and features the up and coming model pouting furiously in as she pulls on her skin-tight Hudson Jeans.
