Celeb Denim - Ashley Olsen / Earnest Sewn

Considering that Ashley Olsen is such a fashionista it is suprising she has never been featured on Denimology before. I think that may have something to do with the fact that she tends to wear grungy baggy tops which have the annoying tendency to obscure the labels and back pockets of her jeans meaning that they cannot be indentiified. Luckily on this trip to the florist to buy her her own height and weight in flowers she was wearing a short jacket meaning that it was easy to identify that she was wearing a pair of Earnest Sewn Skinny Jeans.

April 77 Spring/Summer 07 Collection

Here is a sneak peek at the next April 77 Spring/Summer 07 Collection. This brand have really been carving themselves a unique niche with a range of clothing that is influenced by the greasy, seedy, lowlife side of rock n roll. Next year's collection continues in a similar vein with a range of gothic, teddy boy revival skinny jeans, shirts and jackets.

Celeb Denim - Victoria Beckham / Superfine

Victoria Beckham gets a load of stick for her fashion sense and I can understand why. She looks like she must spend weeks studying every single fashion magazine before deciding which outfit to wear that day. However one thing she does always manage to get right is her jeans. In the photo above she is seen looking stunning (at least from the waist down) in an pair of Superfine Wax Jeans. Not so sure about the fisherman's jumper and cap though.

People's Liberation For Tommy Lee

Last week Tommy Lee was in Bloomingdales promoting his new People's Liberation For Tommy Lee Jeans. These days having your own line of jeans is just another celebrity brand extension like the latest movie, album, reality tv program, fragrance and biography. I don't necessarily have a problem with this when it looks some thought has gone into the jeans - like with Justin Timberlake's William Rast collection. However from the look of these jeans Tommy must have spent all of half an hour working on them. There is nothing interesting about them whatsoever, all they seem to have done is taken a couple of Tommy's tattoos and used them for the back pocket design. Not only are these some of the the lamest celebrity jeans I have come across, I would say they are not even the best line of jeans by a member of Motley Crue!

Lindsay Lohan & Her Denim Shorts

Lindsay Lohan can't get enough of denim shorts at the moment. In the last week she has been seen out in no less than three different pairs. In the photo above she is seen leaving the gym in a slouchy pair of Siwy Denim Camilla Shorts. A couple of days later she wore a different more dressed up pair of shorts to the Genetic Denim First Anniversary Party. The same pair also appeared in a Terry Richarson photoshoot for GQ. And in the final picture below she carrying a copy of Vogue and wearing what looks like a homemade pair of cut offs.
